Olaniyi Kolawole

Olaniyi Kolawole holds an MA in Contemporary Migration and Diaspora Studies from UCC and is presently a final year PhD Social Science candidate Olaniyi lectures in the Department of Sociology and School of Applied Social Studies in UCC. Besides having a passion for teaching, he is also an accomplished conference speaker, experienced researcher and dedicated to work for integration, equality and social inclusion. His research interests are in qualitative research methodologies, the dynamics of migration, migrants’ economic and cultural Integration, social inclusion/exclusion, multiculturalism and management of cultural diversity.
His PhD thesis research focuses on professional integration experiences of foreign-trained healthcare professionals into the healthcare sectors of both Ireland and Canada. He lectures on the MSc Programme on Personal and Management Coaching and recognises the importance of this important vehicle of communication not only in the business, educational and Health care world but also in relation to social issues such as inclusion and equality.
