Peter Finch As a practicing coach, Peter combines professional coaching competencies and education with over twenty years of business, leadership and training experience. His focus as a coach is on creating the space for clients to explore challenges, expand self-awareness and insight, and build on strengths. Peter is passionate about the power of coaching to help individuals and groups to reach their full potential. His approach is informed by the evidence of coaching psychology, in particular solution-focused cognitive behavioural coaching and positive psychology coaching.
Peter’s qualifications in coaching include a Masters in Personal and Management Coaching from University College Cork and a Higher Diploma in Coaching Psychology (UCC). He is a registered coach and adheres to the Code of Ethics and Good Practice of the Association for Coaching. In addition he holds a Higher Diploma in Education, and a BA (Hons.) in Economics. He is certified by the British Psychological Society as a test administrator in personality assessment and holds a professional certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness.
Peter’s coaching clients include business owners, corporate executives and senior team leaders in a variety of business settings and industries, both in Ireland and the UK. In addition to his work as a coach, Peter lectures part-time in coaching at University College Cork.
