TRAIN TO BE A COACH
MSc Personal and Management Coaching
This Masters programme provides a comprehensive training in both Personal and Management Coaching. The programme is accredited by UCC and follows a logical progression of building coaching skills, creating the coaching relationship, developing coaching approaches, understanding the psychological background and implementing effective coaching practices in one to one or team settings.
The programme also engages in the use of solution focused, person centred, cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic and systemic coaching approaches. The use of mindfulness in coaching is explored as is business coaching and the important role of Coaching supervision. The programme provides training in Psychometric testing that leads to recognition by the British Psychological Society. It is a part-time programme that is delivered one evening a week with occasional Saturdays on campus in UCC. Alternatively for those who prefer online learning this Masters programme in Personal and Management Coaching can also be completed as an online / blended programme which allow students from all over the country to avail of this training. The blended element of this programme involves five training days in Dublin over the course of the year with online training each week.

• Option One: UCC Campus Classroom based Masters (MSc) in Personal and Management Coaching
Lectures take place in UCC, Cork on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, with occasional weekend workshops.
• Option Two: Online / blended Masters (MSc) in Personal and Management Coaching
Lectures take place online each Monday evening from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, with occasional online weekend workshops. Over the course of year one there are five classroom based training days in Dublin.

The Post Graduate Certificate (PG Cert) in Personal and Management Coaching provides an excellent grounding in Coaching and Coaching skills. The programme is accredited by UCC. This Post Graduate Certificate incorporates the first three modules of the Masters programme in Personal and Management Coaching and provides the student with the opportunity to build on this qualification towards a Masters in the future. It provides a background to the use of coaching, the establishment of the coaching relationship and explores some of the theoretical approaches used along with their psychological background. It also provides a strong grounding on coaching skills and supervision. This Post Graduate Certificate (PG Cert) can be completed either as classroom based programme in UCC Campus or in an online / blended formate.

Higher Diploma in Coaching / Coaching Psychology
The Higher Diploma in Coaching / Coaching Psychology offers a detailed programme on the use of coaching psychology within a coaching context. The programme is accredited by UCC. The Higher Diploma in Coaching/Coaching Psychology will provide you with the skills, understanding, awareness and knowledge to be an effective coach and to respond creatively and positively to the current demands and uncertainties of life. The programme examines the role of self and the use of Mindfulness within the coaching conversation. Please contact the programme coordinator for further information about this programme.

Requirements
- Candidates will be required to have relevant experience in a related working role or hold a primary degree in any discipline
- Candidates may be required to attend for interview
- English Language Requirement
- All applicants whose first language is not English must have attained IELTS Level 6.5 or the equivalent TOEFL
